Biography

Dr. Rashmi Shrish is a compassionate and dedicated Fertility Specialist who has devoted over a decade to helping couples navigate the often challenging journey of infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). Her empathetic approach and commitment to evidence-based practice have enabled countless families to embrace their dreams of parenthood.  

As a Gold Medalist in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the esteemed Institute of Medicine at Tribhuvan University, Dr. Shrish further honed her skills through advanced fellowships in ART and Endoscopic Surgery at Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, India, and in Cosmetic Gynecology with the American Aesthetic Association in Dubai. She is proud to be one of the pioneers introducing cosmetic gynecology services in Nepal, aiming to enhance women’s health and confidence.  

As the Founding Director of several well-respected fertility and gynecology centers, including Nepal International Fertility and Laparoscopic Centre (NIFLC), Angel Fertility Clinic, and Flora Gynae Aesthetics, Dr. Shrish has always envisioned a practice where personalized, ethical, and top-notch fertility care is accessible to all. She passionately advocates for greater awareness and acceptance of infertility issues, striving to create a supportive community for those affected.  

Understanding the importance of country-specific ART regulations, Dr. Shrish actively engages in policymaking, education, and training within the field. She has been invited as faculty and has presented papers at numerous national and international conferences, guiding hands-on training workshops, and contributes to crucial clinical research focusing on IVF and ICSI outcomes.  

Her commitment to advancing women's reproductive health has not gone unnoticed; in March 2025, she received the Best Research Paper Award at the MESON (Menopausal Society of Nepal) Conference, highlighting her dedication to research and innovation in this vital area.  

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Shrish’s leadership shines through her roles as Founding Member and Joint Secretary of the Fertility Society of Nepal (FESON), General Secretary of the Nepal Chapter of the Indian Fertility Society, and Country Representative for the Asia Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (ASPIRE). She is also a proud member of several professional organizations, including NESOG, ESHRE, and MESON.
